Hi I’m Taylor

Hi, I’m

And I am…well, I am all sorts of things. That’s why I’m here writing on this blog. I am on a quest to figure out better who I am and plow a path through the clutter of life to a vision I have of my future. To a bright light I can see ahead and I want to share. If you are new to my site, Start Here! Otherwise I’ll continue with a little bit about myself right here.

I love beauty. I love to cook aka I love feeding people. I love being a wife and a mother (97% of the time).  I love to read.  I love to watch movies. I love to pretend to be a secret agent and solve the crime before the end of the book or movie. I love to be around friends and family. I love to share and teach. I love to collaborate. I love to party. I love to be alone.

I’m the first to admit I am somewhat of a high maintenance person. My husband will be the second to admit it. However I like to think of myself as a low maintenance person who likes to look high maintenance with little effort. (insert wide grin emoji)

I recently have started to identify with the minimalist movement although I’ve been trying to coin the term “simplism” because I am not going to live in a Tiny House (at least I don’t think so) or own just one of everything, and I am not going to live out of a suitcase and travel the world (perhaps someday).

I am a stay at home mom by choice.

I strive to be a good wife and a disciple of Christ. #lds

I want peace and joy and laughter and mistakes and learning.

I want simplicity supporting a purpose-driven, meaningful life.

I want less stress over daily tasks and more time and energy for my family, my passions and my eternal progression.

My 5 core values (right now) are relationships, learning, sharing, beauty and community. Want to find out yours? Click here.

And there you have it.

That’s pretty much ME in a nutshell. At least as much as I know right now. I’m learning more about myself every day through this process.

Come, stay a while. Chat.

I’d love to help you discover YOU while you are here. I think we should all wake up excited to be ourselves!
